A product designer with a deep interest in the creation of human-centered technology that encourages positive behavior and connection. Working throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Oceania regions has instilled in me a cross-cultural sensibility. This has grown in importance as problems now need to be seen from a global rather than local perspective.

A few companies I've had the pleasure of working with include  Clipchamp (acquired by Microsoft), Wolff Olins, GoMA, Realgestalt, Fabrica (invitation) and Rexlabs. Some of the clients I've been lucky to collaborate with include the Australian Federal Government, Bonds, Voodoo, Bundaberg Ginger Beer, Camper, Jagermeister, Berlin International Airport, FSB and TATA. Some achievements of mine, Qantas SOYA finalist, BADC - Silver - Digital and New Media (Websites – Full Sites), BADC - Finalist - Digital Craft (UI Design – Interactivity and Navigation), and AGIdeas group speaker.

My background in Computer Science helps me look at design from a technical point of view in addition to advocating for users’ needs and desires. Most recently I have led the product design of a number of complex digital products, leading user research, UX, and UI design whilst heavily on the tools. I've ensured the accurate transition of design into development many times. I am also comfortable presenting to stakeholders and making sure business objectives are aligned.

Outside of work, I read psychology, sci-fi, and philosophy. I'm very sensitive to the spaces we inhabit and the cities we live in. I shot some photos for Right Angle Studio's Brisbane Study Tour, an essay on trying to come to terms with Brisbane's Identity and its rapid changes over the last few years. I also like capturing videos of people and places, this is a video collage I put together after visiting SXSW in Austin, Texas.

I enjoy creating technology platforms that are intuitive, functional, and change human behavior in positive ways. Design thinking, iteration, testing, and constant improvement are how robust and effective ideas are developed.
